The out patient dialysis unit consists of a 12-chair Hemodialysis unit and a Home Training Peritoneal Dialysis Program. Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis and Automated Peritoneal Dialysis are offered at the center's ambulatory unit for patients capable of performing and who choose this therapy in a home setting.

A multidisciplinary team provides care for the young adult, adult, and geriatric patient diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure. The team consists of staff from medicine, nursing, social service, and dietary. The unit is open from 5a.m.-12 midnight, Monday through Saturday.

A bi-monthly support group provides educational lectures, emotional support and group counseling for patients and their families. Social Work staff coordinate social events and outings as well as assistance with travel arrangements for dialysis patients. We also offer to the public seminars on choices for the pre end stage renal patient. Please call the unit to obtain our schedule.
