Sleep accounts for one third of our lives. Therefore, good sleep is critical to living a healthy productive life-span. However, many Americans do not get the proper duration of sleep correlating to their biological needs, resulting in negative consequences on relationships, health and safety, and productivity at work. In fact, many Americans do not get the appropriate amount of sleep due unknown disorders related to sleep.

If you snore, gasp, wheeze, choke or cough while sleeping, wake up irritable and gasping for air, or suffer from excessive daytime sleepiness, you may have a sleeping disorder. Effective treatment is available for most individuals diagnosed and the good news is, St. Catherine’s Sleeping Disorders Center can help you.
