Services even Closer to Home
Smithtown, New York - St. Catherine of Siena
Medical Center opened its doors to the community, its new
doors that is - to its New Offsite Patient Service Center
located at 9 Brooksite Drive. The new center provides same
day results to physicians for most clinical test and no appointment
is necessary.
The official ribbon cutting took place on Thursday, March
19, 2009. St. Catherine’s administration, key staff
members and Legislator Lynne Nowick were all in attendance
to celebrate the opening. “We are committed to providing
healthcare services to our community and are responding to
the growing need of outpatient healthcare services”,
stated Sharon Kennish, Executive Vice President and Chief
Administrator of St. Catherine’s.
Additionally, a special painting depicting St. Catherine’s
campus grounds was donated to the new Outpatient Service Center
by St. Catherine’s employee, Sam Reynaga.
Reynaga, a Patient Care Assistant at the hospital is also
a talented artist, who has painted beautiful murals for specific
units in the hospital to help lift the spirits of patients,
visitor and employees. “I love to paint, it is relaxing,
and I am happy to share my work with St. Catherine’s”,
stated Reynaga.
St. Catherine’s New Offsite Patient Service Center
is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and on
Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please call (631) 724-1263
