Family cable television service is available for a nominal charge. To activate this service, the television office may be reached Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. by dialing extension 3014 and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. by dialing extension 3122 (Hospital Front Desk Information). At all other times, the Security Department will turn on television by dialing extension #3300.

St. Catherine of Siena's in-house closed circuit Channel #3 broadcasts religious services every Sunday. In addition to Channel 3, our maternity department provides free access to the Newborn Channel. These limited viewing channels are available to patients free of charge. Closed caption is available for the hearing impaired and earphones are available for those who require them at no additional charge.

Fund raising is the main objective of The Auxiliary. It is for this reason that we are able to provide free television services to Pediatrics (under age 16), ASU, CCU, ICU and Dialysis. Other areas are charged a one time $4.00 "turn-on" charge and $4.00 each day thereafter. Reduced fees are available for patients whose television service has been greater than 28 days and television service is free after 56 days of continuous paid use. Television charges cannot be added to your hospital bill. The Auxiliary Television Department accepts cash and checks only. Fees are collected on a daily basis by volunteers and may also be paid at the front Lobby Information Desk (a payment box and envelopes are available).
