Embracing the World Network of Charity, Locally

January 13th, 2015

St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center is embracing the world network of charity with a new dedicated onsite clothing bin. Now, employees and visitors have another convenient location to give back to others in need.  Many items that you may consider discarding could be donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and ultimately used to help someone in need.

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.  The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an advocate on behalf of the poor, seeking to discover the root causes of poverty and to remedy its effects.
