Endovascular Surgery Program & Vascular Lab
St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center is pleased to offer minimally invasive endovascular and operative procedures for the treatment of the aorta, carotids and vessels of extremities. Our board certified vascular and endovascular surgeons are providing the most innovative techniques for the treatment of problems affecting blood vessels, such as aneurysms (swelling of the blood vessel).
Using small incisions, experienced surgeons can now access blood vessels using special fabric tube devices—this technique, called an endovascular graft, offers skilled surgeons enhanced positioning to expand and seal an aneurysm—permanently preventing continued blood flow. This technique has many advantages for the patient, including less stress on the heart, less discomfort and a shorter recovery period.
